The coronavirus pandemic has already claimed many lives around the globe. Several emergency services, hospitals, clinics are exceeding their capacity and the number of hours that many health care workers have been putting in has been growing exponentially. These are the true heroes and warriors that are in the front lines fighting for everyone’s health during the outbreak.
While some doctors like Dr. Nicola Sgarbi, of Italy, have been at work and the images we see of nurses are heartbreaking, Dr. Elvis L. Francois, an Orthopedic Surgeon, and his partner in crime, William Robinson, also an Orthopedic Surgeon, have been showing some love online to uplift everyone’s spirits with a simple performance that’s catching eyeballs around the internet.
Another video that has everyone talking is the touching viral plea of a Spaniard woman, whose message was addressed to people who are not respecting quarantine to avoid the spread of COVID-19. Although a bit harsh, but, most definitely very assertive, she comes from a place of worry and it’s something a lot of us needed to hear.
“Do not take advantage of taking the dog out to go for two-mile walks. No, let the dog pee on your doorstep and you come back. Do not take advantage of the fact that you can go shopping to go shopping every day, or go shopping several times a day. No, because this is just the beginning and it is coming very strong.”
